Who We Are
Founded in 2013, Vink Consulting is led by Cassandra Vink. Cassandra leads all aspects of the firm’s work and brings together trusted associates and subject matter experts to meet the needs of each project. This flexible model allows Vink Consulting to provide senior-level leadership while tailoring each project team to the specific context, scope, and expertise required.
CASSANDRA VINK
Director, Vink Consulting
Cassandra Vink brings extensive research, policy, evaluation, planning, and consultation experience across a range of social policy areas, with particular expertise in housing, homelessness, health, and human services.
Cassandra has provided research and policy support in various capacities for more than two decades. She has over 20 years of consulting experience and has completed more than 150 reports and studies for public sector and non-profit organizations. Her work has included housing and homelessness plans, needs assessments, program and system evaluations, service reviews, policy research, community engagement, and strategic and community planning.
Prior to founding Vink Consulting, Cassandra was a Principal with SHS Consulting, where she managed and led a broad range of housing, homelessness, and social policy projects.
Cassandra holds a Master of Science in Planning from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Finance from the University of Guelph. She is a Registered Professional Planner with the Ontario Professional Planners Institute, a Credentialed Evaluator with the Canadian Evaluation Society, and a member of Social Value Canada.
JODI BALL
Associate, J Consulting Group
Jodi Ball is a consultant specializing in research, policy and planning, and community engagement. She has over 20 years of experience in the consulting sector, with a strong focus on community planning and public engagement.
Jodi has completed more than 100 research, strategic planning, program evaluation, consultation, and engagement projects on a variety of socio-economic topics, including housing, homelessness, community health, mental health services, and social services. Her work has been undertaken at the local, regional, and national levels.
Jodi holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Studies from York University, specializing in community planning and policy development. She is a full member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute, a member of the International Association of Facilitators, and a member of the International Association for Public Participation.
